2 reasons Neymar turned down Barca
Barca were making plans to re-sign Neymar this summer only for the Brazilian to renew his contract with PSG and put the Catalans’ hopes to an end. The two reasons why the 29-year old decided not to make a Camp Nou return has now been revealed by Marca.

The first is because he still believes in PSG due to the their recent exploits in the Champions League so far which have seen them reach the final and then the semi-final of the competition in the last two seasons. Neymar knows the club will keep investing in order to eventually win the competition. The second reason is that Neymar is aware of the fact that Barca cannot afford his €30 million salary which he currently earns at the French club.
Atletico want to sell Barca target
The search for Sergio Busquets replacement is still on for Barca. The Catalans have reportedly identified Saul Niguez of Atletico Madrid for that position. The Hard Tackle reports that Atletico are ready to sell the 26-year old midfielder in the next transfer window since his impact in the team has reduced this season and he is only being handed a rotation role. Barca now have a major boost in their pursuit of the Spaniard and they may get him for a good price even though Atletico are yet to name it.

In order to sign Erling Haaland this summer, Barca are ready to listen to offers for both Philippe Coutinho and Martin Braithwaite. The Blaugrana have made Haaland their number one transfer target and Joan Laporta is really determined to sign him when the transfer window opens. Express reports that Barca would listen to offers for Braithwaite who hasn’t established himself in the team and also Coutinho who hasn’t justified his huge transfer fee at Camp Nou.
Concern for Barca over Dembele
Ousmane Dembele’s situation is currently a big concern for Barca according to Football Espana. The attacker doesn’t want to renew his contract which is set to expire next year and he is not agreeing a transfer away from the club now. This means that he could leave for free when his contract expires. Laporta wants him to renew his contract now or be sold in the next transfer window for the club not to lose financially if he leaves for free.
Kane wants Barca move
Tottenham striker Harry Kane would like to move to Barca this summer despite Manchester United’s interest in him, according to Express. Barca are in search for a center-forward who will lead their attack next season and they have the England striker on their transfer plan.
