Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has reacted to the appointment of Major General Farouk Yahaya as the next Chief of Army Staff.
Kanu, who is also the chairman of the notorious Eastern Security Network, ESN, has slammed the nomination, claiming that the Federal government doesn’ t care.
” This is how they roll, ” he wrote on Twitter. They don’ t give a damn, to put it bluntly. Every security position must be filled by a #Fulani or #Fulani.
” Your shame is embarrassing me, all of you clever morons, grammarians, and multi-purpose Efulefus from the South yapping about one Nigeria. “
The Nigerian Army released a statement announcing Yahaya’ s appointment on Thursday afternoon. Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru, the former Chief of Army Staff, died in a jet crash in Kaduna state last week.

Sunday Ude said: ” It is obvious that the northern Fulanis are out to destroy Nigeria. They see nothing wrong in their tribalistic and selfish dispositions to the affairs of Nigerian and we are here chanting one Nigeria. This is the administration where only one tribe- has everything, Where is this done? what information are they trying to pass across to Nigerians. This one Nigeria is fake and has since expired in the hands of Fulanis and they are here defending herdsmen and condemning the southern governors for taking a decision that will help Nigeria move forward. I hope the southern governors are seeing this the way I am seeing it. The hand writing is boldly written on the wall. “
Tunde said: ” Don’ t know why you guys are surprised about the COAS appointment. Buhari is telling you that he doesn’ t care about what the south think. So far he is in charge the rest of the nation should go and die. “
