To commemorate Nigeria’s democracy day (June 12), the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan, shared his democracy day speech via his official Facebook page.
In the Senate President’s democracy day speech, he noted many things about Nigeria and her citizens. He said although Nigeria is not where it should be but there’s an improvement in the country’s democracy.
Senator Ahmed Lawan further added that, Nigerians should respect the democracy day because of those that fought for the day in the past. He noted that, Nigerians should always respect the democratic process.

Talking about the current situation of the country, Senator Ahmed Lawan hinted that he’s very much aware of the ongoings but he’s certain their would be total positive changes soon.
He assured Nigerians that the current administration would keep putting more efforts towards ensuring there are tremendous progresses in the nation. Lastly, the Senate President noted that, this day is auspicious and Nigerians should enjoy it the right way.
