Breaking: RCCG’s Enoch Adeboye Visits Kogi Gov Yahaya Bello, Tells Him This

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG) visited Kogi State on Saturday 22 May 2021.

During his interaction with Governor Yahaya Bello of the State, Pastor Adeboye said Yahaya Bello was a man of faith.

He said the governor showed it in how he handled the Corona Virus pandemic in Kogi State.

Pastor Adeboye extolled the leadership style of Governor Yahaya Bello in unifying the two main religions n the state; Islam and Christianity.

He said it was Yahaya who built the First-Ever Government house Chapel in Kogi State.

He thanked the governor for being a balanced leader who cares for all irrespective of religious differences.

The General Over of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Promised to continue praying for Governor Yahaya Bello, Kogi State leadership, and the people of the State at large.

He expressed the belief that God will answer the prayers he makes for Governor Yahaya Bello.

Conclusively, Papa Enoch Adeboye thanked Governor Bello for his audience.

Responding, Governor Yahaya Bello expressed gratitude to Papa Enoch Adeboye for the visit. He described Pastor Adeboye’ s visit as a gift to him and the entirety of Kogi State.

Governor Bello said he was delighted to host the highly respected religious leader. He described Pastor Adeboye as a father figure and a role model to lots of people and himself inclusive.

The governor stated that it was bad for a leader to continually do evil without thinking of posterity.

He added that considering how he came to power under Providence, he had no option but to continually rendering quality governance to the good people Of the state.

Governor Yahaya Bello asserted that his administration’s efforts at providing quality governance and ensuring a balance in religious, ethnic measures, and fighting corruption were only what he sees as his duty.

He asked the G. O of RCCG to continue praying for Nigeria, Kogi State, the leaders, and the led.

Governor Bello said that during this critical period, all religions need to unite and pray for peace to prevail in the at all times.
