A former Edo State Commissioner for Establishment, Labour and Special Duties, Comrade Didi Adodo, has died. Family members of the deceased disclosed that the deceased died of Covid-19 complications. Didi Adodo battled with the Covid-19 infection for 5 long days. Didi Adodo died on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.
The Former Commissioner was diagnosed with Covid-19 and he started receiving treatment from medical experts. Unfortunately, Didi Adodo battled with some complications caused by the Covid-19 infection. Until his death, Didi Adodo was the General Secretary of The Iron and Steel Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ISSSAN).
Late Didi Adodo was a Commissioner during the two terms of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole’s administration. Didi was Commissioner for Establishment, Labour and Special Duties under Adams Oshiomhole. Since the Covid-19 pandemic sprang up in Nigeria, it has claimed over 1,000 lives and over 100,000 people has contracted the virus
