While the suspect was confessing, he said that “It occurred last Sunday. My boss came to my duty post (gas facility), told me not to bring friends to the gas facility and I said Okay. That Sunday, my other colleague came to visit me and unfortunately my boss came to inspect the gas station and due to that, he got angry with me and asked why I brought my friend.”
“I told him that he was my colleague and he started quarrelling with me and my friend and along the line, my colleague exchanged words with him, as my boss rushed to beat him, but I held him back and promised not to bring anyone to the gas station again”.
However, when the deceased left, the suspect and his other colleague started mocking him, and they also planned how they will hurt him and when he came back to the station later in the afternoon, Chukwuma killed him with his firearm, by shooting him from the back.
