Manu Universities in Nigeria has been on strike for sometime now as there have not being any academic activities for months. You might not be wrong to say that students are not happy with this as most students would not be happy to stay at home without indulging in the academic works and trainings they signed up for.
The federal government have to working actively to put an end to the strike but things doesn’t seem to be working out so well as ASSU persists that the Federal government should follow adopt the university UTAS System. It’s obvious that there is bad news for students as federal government has declared as reported by Legit.ng that there is not provision for the University Transparency and Accountability solution in 2021 budget.
This was declared by the minister of labour and employment Chris Ngige. This is obviously a really bad news for students as resumption might not be close by.
What do you think about this? Should ASSU Submit to the FG and follow their system so that students can get back to school? Share your opinion. Don’t forget to like, share, and comment.
