It has been over a week now since protests have started across the country with many citizens especially youths asking the government to end the special anti-robbery squad (SARS). The special unit has been severally been accused of being involved in illegal dealings that involve harassment and extortion of innocent citizens.

So many things have happened since the protests started. The special unit has been scrapped and even another one set up as a replacement, SWAT, Special weapon and tactics team but protesters have refused to back down as they ask the government to end the new one as well. They claim that it couldn’t have been properly set up within such a short time.
