I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is there anything too hard for me? Jere 32:27. In 1953, Edmund Hillary of New Zealand and Tenzing Norgay of Nepal climbed the peak of Mount Everest. They became the first set of humans to plant their feet on the tallest peak in the world which stands 29,000 feet into the atmosphere. Indeed, with human strength and determination, some things are possible. But with God, all things are possible. This lesson encourages you to trust in God’s power, even when difficulties come or your abilities don’t seem to measure up; He will do much more than you can ever imagine, nothing is too hard for God to do.
Even in your difficult times, see why you should continue to trust God to help you:
1. Nothing is too big for God: (Isaiah 38:1-8) While we don’t always know the why and how of God’s actions, one thing is certain: God can do anything He wants to do – nothing is too big for Him.God can always do what He wills and all his actions are always just and pure, never selfish or misguided.
2. Nothing is too small for God (2 Kings 6;1-6): Many things can be beyond our grasp, but nothing is too big or small for God.
3. No one is too weak for God (Judges 6:11-16): When we concentrate on our weaknesses, we take focus off God and place it on ourselves. But when we trust in Him, there are no limits to what God can accomplish through our lives (2 Cor. 12:9). You can do anything God wants you to do. Just keep your focus where it belongs: on God’s power and ability to help
