Morning News! 12-Year-Old Girl Was Allegedly R*ped by Pastor In an Uncompleted Building In Ogun
The pastor at Helmet of Life Worldwide Church, reportedly dedicated the offence at Ejigun Agbede Itele Ota, within the Ado-odo Native Authorities Space of the state.
A 54-year-old pastor, Niyi Omowodun, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for defiling a 12-year-old lady in an uncompleted constructing.
The suspect, who’s a pastor at Helmet of Life Worldwide Church, reportedly dedicated the offence at Ejigun Agbede Itele Ota, within the Ado-odo Native Authorities Space of the state
He was mentioned to have dragged the 12-year-girl, who was despatched on an errand, to an uncompleted constructing within the space and had illegal carnal data of her.
The Police Public Relations Officer within the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed this in an announcement on Wednesday.
Oyeyemi defined that the suspect was arrested on Monday following a criticism by the daddy of the sufferer.
The PPRO mentioned, “The person defined that whereas he was at his work place, he obtained a name from certainly one of his neighbours that her daughter had been sexually abused by the suspect and that the mentioned neighbour caught the person within the act.
“Upon the report, the DPO, Itele Division, Monday Unuigbe, detailed his detectives to go after the person, and he was subsequently arrested.
“On interrogation, the suspect, who claimed to be a pastor at Helmet of Life Worldwide Church, confessed having an illegal carnal data of the little lady.
The PPRO added that the suspect claimed that he was tempted to commit the offence as a result of he had separated together with his spouse since 2016.
