The prominent Lagos Political Lord, Ahmed Tinubu also called ‘Jagaban’, had let out a video in which he asked Edo people not to vote for Godwin Obaseki who is going for a second term bid in the Edo governorship election on Saturday.

Tinubu outrightly said that Obaseki is not a democrat, and so giving him a second chance to rule the state as Governor would be undeserving.

Still in the video, ‘Jagaban’ claimed to be one of the key persons who pioneered the fight for Nigeria’s democracy.

Two days after the controversial viral video was let out by Tinubu, Governor Godwin Obaseki has come out on his Official Tweeter handle to say that the slogan ‘#EdoNoBeLagos’ is loud and clear.

The statements made by Tinubu in the video has sparked up arguments among many political activists, including Edo people who have an important task of exercising their legal franchise at the polls on Saturday.

In the Tweet, he posted a video that contains a part of the clip issued out by Tinubu. The corresponding reactions of people to Obaseki’s tweet has been massively alarming.
