The Ogun State Government has sat and come out with their conclusion on the school resumption date. Ogun state schools are said and announced to be reopened on 21 September 2020 in the state for the first term of 2020/2021
This announcement is made clear to help students to settle themselves for resumption. All Schools in Ogun state are to make provision of COVID-19 protocols as given to the government. Inline with school resumption and COVID-19 protocols schools are advised to make provision for all requirements needed by the school as assign by the Federal Government to ensure that schools are put on good order for students and education settlement.
The government, however, staggered the resumption and the closing hours for primary and secondary schools so as to maintain a proper guide for the school resumption. Primary and Secondary schools are into the calendar given by the state government.
So also, colleges and tertiary institutions have their full and normal time in the school. That shows that all colleges and all tertiary institutions will maintain their normal school calendar and timetable.
The government of Ogun state is working tirelessly to see the student’s education is pick up from where it was or even better after the COVID-19. Ogun state ministry of education are still having the state’s education in mind and will soon do something to make it more easy and valuable to the students of Ogun.
