Petrol Might Price Extra In South-East —IPMAN

The Impartial Petroleum Entrepreneurs Affiliation of Nigeria, Enugu depot, has warned that petrol could price extra within the South-East.

It stated it is because the Federal Authorities didn’t reactivate the Emene depot.

The Chairman of Enugu depot of the affiliation, Mr Chinedu Anyaso, disclosed this in an interview with newsmen in Awka on Friday.

Anyaso stated that petrol may be offered for N170 within the South-East due to the price of delivering the merchandise on the stations within the zone.

Anyaso stated that the depot had been mendacity moribund since 2005.

He was reacting to the rise within the pump value of petrol and the challenges confronted by entrepreneurs within the zone.

He stated the depot was strategic to the nationwide financial system, including that it was serving Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, elements of Imo, Abia, Cross River and North-Central, together with Benue State.

The IPMAN chief described the price of transporting merchandise from Lagos, Warri, Benin, Calabar and different places as big.

In line with him, entrepreneurs don’t get their equalisation fund as and when due.

He stated that entrepreneurs within the zone have been incurring big losses resulting from incessant highway crashes and spill involving their vehicles because of the poor state of the roads.

“We wish to use this chance to resume our enchantment to the federal authorities to restore the Emene depot in Enugu in order that our members can begin loading merchandise from right here”.
