The news has circulated that the federal government of Nigeria has officially approved the reopening of schools across the country giving all schools the permission to reopen and start lectures once they put all Covid-19 protocols in place as directed by the presidential task force and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control for safe reopening of schools.
According to updates from some institution portals, few school have reopened and started receiving lectures already while some are set to reopen on Monday 12th October, 2020.
Here are the list of polytechnics and universities that will reopen and start lectures on Monday 12th of October;
University of Abuja
Sokoto State University
Enugu State University
Ebonyi State University
Adamawa State University
Yobe State University
Kogi State University
Delta State University
Bauchi State University
Rivers State University.
Federal polytechnic offa, kwara State
Abdullah Gusau polytechnic
Federal polytechnic Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State
Kwara State College of health
Airforce Institute of Technology kaduna state
Institute of management and technology Enugu State
Waziri Umaru polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi
With this update, it’s very clear that students of the above-mentioned institutions would be excited to see that schools finally reopens. Students of the institutions listed above are urged to get prepared as they resume on Monday 12th of October to start lectures immediately in order to finish their 2019/2020 academic session.
Students of the above-mentioned institutions should note that all Covid-19 protocols must be adhered to while the lecture begins.
