Aliko is a Nigerian businessman. He is an investor, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. Dangote impact is Felt globally not just in Africa. Aliko Dangote is the chief executive officer of Dangote Group.

Which is the largest manufacturing conglomerate in West Africa. We all might not know the story of Aliko Dangote, but we do know him as the richest man in Africa, (The Richest Blackman).


Like most business out there. He started small and has scaled his business to an enviable height which has secured him 51st spot on Forbes list of wealthiest billionaire in the world. Aliko Dangote serves as the source of inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs who believe in hardwork.

Aliko Dangote was given birth to on the 10th of April in the year 1957 to Mohammed Dangote and Mariya Sanusi Dantata. Aliko Dangote was the grandson to Alhaji Alhassan Dantata who was the richest African at that time. Aliko Dangote studied at Sheikh Ali Kumasi Madrasa, he went to Capital High school in Kano and secured bachelor’s degree in Business and Administration from Al-Azhar University, Cairo.

Aliko Dangote is a blessing to Nigeria and Africa as in whole with this Refinery that will soon be launched, which will mean alot to us (especially the west African) and it will contribute alot to the Nigerian economy.

Dangote refinery is an oil refinery owned by the Dangote Group. It’s said to still be under construction in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. The refinery have the capacity to process about six hundred and fifty thousand barrels per day of crude oil.

Aliko Dangote revealed the plans for the refinery in September in the year 2013, when he disclosed that he had acquired about three point three billion in financing for the project.

According to reports by Nairametricks which stated that Dangote Group announced that its refinery would be commissioned by the end of first half in the year 2021. Since we anticipates the launching of the refinery, below is the photos of it. Have a look.
