ADO-EKITII – A chieftain of the All Progres­sives Congress (APC), Femi Bamisile, has lauded President Muhammadu Buhari‘s recent robust packages for teachers, saying it would enhance intel­lectual advancement.

Bamisile, Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Federal Road Maintenance Agency, said the approval of a special salary package and extension in the years of ser­vice from 35 to 40 for teachers would boost the morale of teachers.

The lawmaker, while con­gratulating the winners of the 2020 Best Secondary School Teacher’s Award in Nige­ria, Mr. Olaoluwa Asubiojo, an Ekiti teacher, said, “The President’s announcement will further encourage the teachers in the country to work hard for the betterment of society”.

He congratulated all Ekiti teachers and urged them to remain committed to profes­sionalism and assured them that the APC government in the state would continue to support them to compete with their contemporaries in any part of the country.
