Today is the popular June 12, which is tagged as Democracy day in Nigeria, and there have been a lot happening both on and off social media. Earlier this morning, a former aviation minister of the federation, Chief Femi Fani Kayode has sought peace talks from the federal government of Nigeria and the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB).
In buttressing his words in two points, Fani Kayode wrote,
1. “Not all Fulanis are Terrorists and not all Terrorists are Fulanis.

2.”Not all Igbos are IPOB, and not all IPOB members are unknown gunmen.”
He made this unpopular opinion on his official Twitter earlier this morning. See Tweet Below:
In the long run, all Fani Kayode was only trying to tell us and the federal government this morning was that we/they need to appreciate, accept and understand these two facts from him.
He made it clear that accepting what he said will go a long way in paving way for peace talks, most especially with the federal government and IPOB.
However, under the comment section of this unpopular opinion, many had disagreed that the federal government can never hold peace talks with Biafra.
It is a proscribed group according to the federal government, any form of peace talks should come from the IPOB themselves as they must be part of Nigeria, by maintaining peace and order, unity in the country.
