Today, 12th of June, 2021, human rights activists and other groups organized a protest and urged all Nigerians to join. The protest has 14 agendas, which includes the removal of Isa Pantami as the Minister of Communications, the demand for President Muhammadu Buhari’s resignation, the release of all activists unjustly arrested and other ills in the Nigerian society. So far, there have been a huge compliance with the protest and security agencies have been situated to prevent any form of violence or lawlessness.
Also, another group of Nigerians organized a protest to counter the “Buhari Must Go” protest. This group of people are showing solidarity for President Muhammadu Buhari and are encouraging him to perform more good works in the country. In a video posted on Facebook by RootsTv Nigeria, two Nigerian ladies alleged that they came to support President Muhammadu Buhari, only because they were promised the sum of N1000, but they have not been paid.
