National Public Relation Office (PRO) of IPMAN, Yakubu Suleiman, revealed this on Sunday, in an interview with journalists in Jos.
Some police officers had last Friday, laid siege at the IPMAN National Secretariat, for unknown reasons.
President Buhari Replies Niger Delta Avengers
The Presidency on Sunday said it was curious that the Niger Delta Avengers issued threats to resume bombing of critical oil and gas installations less than 48 hours after the President Muhammadu Buhari met with the leadership of the Niger Delta and Ijaw National Congress and the major issues responded to.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, disclosed this in a statement.
The Niger Delta group had threatened to embark on economic sabotage unless certain demands, including the development of the Niger Delta and restructuring, are met.

Troops Avert Attacks In Zangon Kataf
Kaduna State Government said troops of Defence Headquarters Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) stationed in the Southern Kaduna general area averted an attack by armed bandits that would have led to loss of lives in Gidan Zaki, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area.

Mr Samuel Aruwan, the state Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, in a statement, explained that the armed bandits invaded farmlands in the village, and destroyed maize crops with cutlasses.
The statement added that the bandits went on to vandalize the home of one Mr Joseph Aboi, a resident of the village, stressing that they also damaged a nearby vehicle, before storming a phone charging shop belonging to one Benjamin Joseph and carting away phones and chargers.
The statement noted that a swift response of the troops repelled the attack early on, as the bandits retreated from the area in disarray.
Somolu APC Leaders Rally For Salawu
Leaders of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Somolu Local Government Area of Lagos State have defended the choice of incumbent Mr Abdul-Hamed Salawu, as the chairmanship candidate in the 24 July council election.

The leaders in a show of solidarity said on Sunday that Salawu, who is seeking re-election, remains the APC candidate for the area.
Hundreds of APC members in Somolu organized a special gathering to endorse Salawu’s candidature.
