President Muhammad Buhari To Visit Lagos Ahead of June 12:
The Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari plans to visit Lagos on Thursday to officially launch the Deep Blue Project of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
According to the Investigative Journalism, the visit was confirmed on Wednesday by the state police spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi.

The Deep Blue Project is designed to foster the national security on land, sea and air, as initiated by the Federal Ministry of Transportation and the Federal Ministry of Defence.
Note that, the June 12 protest is set to take place at Freedom Park, Ojota, Lagos, two days after the President’s proposed visit.

Gunmen Invade Ekiti, Abduct 4, Injured Guard:
Some armed men, suspected to be Fulani herdsmen about 30, have reportedly stormed a popular hotel in Aiyetoro-Ekiti, Ido/Osi Local Council of the Ekiti state on Tuesday and also kidnapped four persons after injuring the guard on post.
A resident of the vicinity, spoke with the newsmen on condition of anonymity, he said the herdsmen invaded the community around 9:30 p.m and attacked the hotel.
He also said that the herdsmen were about 30 when they came with heavy guns. When they came, they first shot sporadically in the air and a staff of the hotel identified as Idowu was shot in the shoulder.
However, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, Sunday Abutu said he has not received any report of such narrative but promised to get back to the callers once the information gets to the Divisional Headquarters.
And as well, the Commander of Amotekun Security Corps in Ekiti state, Brigadier Joe Komolafe (rtd), said he too couldn’t confirm if the attackers were Fulani herdsmen or a new set of hoodlums.
He however, said the distress call came in on Tuesday night and he immediately deployed his men to the scene around 10:30 pm but the attackers left the scene before the arrival of his men.
Komolafe, who confirmed that the guard at the hotel was badly Injured, said that another lady was raped but could not confirm if anyone was abducted.
PDP Prays For Prophet T.B Joshua:
The People’s Democratic Party in Lagos State Chapter has mourned Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, who died last Saturday.
The Political party, in statement issued on Wednesday evening by it’s Chairman, Adedeji Doherty, said that the party could not soon forget the philanthropic, Youth and Women empowerment programs the late prophet often organise.
Doherty, said that the entire members of the Party, condole with the Pentecostal Church Community, members of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, families and friends of TB Joshua who died at 57.
“We cannot forget all his efforts trying to make Nigeria a better country for all”.
Doherty prayed for the repose of the late Televangelist’s soul.
“We also pray that God in His infinite mercies grants his family, associates, friends and all member of the SCOAN the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss”, he concluded.
