President Muhammadu Buhari suffers another knock as Facebook joined Twitter in deleting his civil war controversial message on its platform. This came after the Nigerian government declared an indefinite suspension of Twitter.Facebook deleted President Buhari’s messages for violating their community standards against inciting violence. Unlike Twitter where only the offensive message was deleted while his thread messages remained, Facebook deleted the President’s entire messages.
“We remove any content from individual or organisation that violates our policies on Facebook,” Facebook said. People were of opinion that the Nigerian Government’s indefinite ban on Twitter was absurd.
