The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council, OYC, has again waded into the one-month suspension slammed on the Charismatic Enugu priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka.
Mbaka’s Adoration Ministry, Enugu Nigeria, AMEN, is currently under lock and key as he served the 30 days ban placed on him by the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Bishop Calistus Onaga.
In a statement, OYC said the current ordeal of Fr. Mbaka could work against the entrenched peace in the Coal City State.
Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, President-General of OYC said in the statement that recent happenings around the priest have vindicated its warnings.

Buhari Mourns Ahmed Nasreddin

President Muhammadu Buhari has described the death of the founder of the NASCO Group, Ahmed Nasreddin as “a great loss not only to Plateau State, but also to the entire country.”
The President said this in a condolence message in Abuja.
“The pioneering role of the industrialist in the development of agriculture in Northern Nigeria since 1963 was a historic giant stride for which he would never be forgotten,” he said.
He said the late Nasreddin “was a man of vision who built the company from strength to strength and became one of the biggest employers of labour in the country.
Police Kill Scores Of Bandits In Zamfara

The Police Command in Zamfara on Sunday said several bandits were neutralised in the state on Saturday night when criminals attempted to attack Magami village of Gusau Local Government Area.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer of the command, SP Shehu Mohammed, in Gusau
“The Police received a report on the attack and the tactical units moved in courageously and engaged the assailants to a gun duel. As a result of the encounter, the attack was successfully repelled, while unspecified number of bandits were neutralised with many of them escaping with possible gun shot wounds,” Shehu said.
Unknown Gunmen Strike In Anambra

Unknown gunmen Sunday evening attacked B Division of the police divisional station and the Independent National Electoral Commission in Akwa, Anambra.
It was gathered that the armed attackers came in three Hilux trucks at about 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.
A witness who almost ran into the troubled area located between the popular Ekwueme Square in Awka said the gunmen shot into the air close to one hour at the station before proceeding to the INEC office.
Tinubu & APC Governors Disagree With Igboho Over Yoruba Nation

Some leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South West have disagreed with Sunday Adeyemo (Sunday Igboho) on his call for the Yoruba nation.
The leaders include Bola Tinubu, Bisi Akande, Segun Osoba, Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Gboyega Oyetola (Osun), Speaker, House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
The leaders met on Sunday at the Government House, Marina, Lagos to deliberate on issues of insecurity facing the region and Nigeria at large, Gov Abiodun had said.
A statement released after the meeting informed that the APC leaders expressed “strong opposition to separatist agitations and hate speeches.”
