David Oluwafemi Adewunmi Abdulateef Fani-Kayode, who is a Nigerian politician, essayist, and a lawyer has taken to his Official Twitter handle to react after the federal government suspended Twitter in Nigeria, saying that it is the most absurd and counterproductive move that the federal government could have made.
According to report, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lia Mohammed in a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media has revealed that the Buhari’s administration has suspended the use of Twitter in Nigeria, adding that persistent use of the platform could affect the country negatively.

Reacting to this information, Femi Fani-Kayode said:
“Suspending Twitter from Nigeria simple because they removed a dangerous, irresponsible, and insensitive tweet by Buhari is the most absurd and counterproductive move that the FG could have made. Whoever advised Mr. President to make this Indefensible move, is his biggest enemy”.
